    it can be hard to farm, the rains have come to California, Erin Bullock, Erin learned to farm in CA, Green Horn Film Preview Screening West Coast Tour Extravaganza, sugar fix, Mud Creek Farm, 150 CSA members this year, Mud Creek leases leand 150 miles outside of Rochester NY, 28 acres 15 tillable, Erin hopes to hire more people next year, the farming part happened very fast, Erin has a degree in Landscape Architecture from Cornell, when she turned 26 she realized you COULD make a living as a farmer, she had 2 years of apprenticeships, did people look upon Erin skeptically when she tried to start her own farm after only 2 years of apprenticing?, the farm at Erin's second farm was totally supportive, the first year Erin had seventy members, are there other small organic vegetable operations nearby?, its been growing since Erin has been at Mud Creek, the Good Food Collective: a MEGA CSA, Erin's family has been amazingly supportive, Erin fell in love with a fellow young Rochester resident / food enthusiast who now wants to farm and has been driving the tractor!, the farm is growing and will probably do 250 members next year, Erin has talked to a lot of farmers and they are split between recommending 'start small grow slow' and 'grow as fast as possible', the idea is to make as much money as possible in order to purchase their own land, a lot of people save up to have babies instead of buying land, Erin thinks Winter CSAs are kinda crazy, personally sustainable as well as financially sustainable, The Magic Fairy Move, sprawl is almost more perplexing than underutilized land, a lot of parents of kids growing up in sprawl are interested in farm education, half of Erin's members bring kids every week, the town supervisor, Education Programs, a potential restaurant, Erin is a powerhouse, Ecofarm, farmererin.blogspot.com, join the Greenhorns!, there is a Greenhorns Wiki, Farm Access Compendium is free on the website!,
